This page explains the newsletter and visitor measurement features on this shop.
Newsletter
When you sign up, we use your email address to send a confirmation link. Product news and offers are sent only after you confirm. We record your consent text, request time, confirmation time and subscription status. We use Supabase to store subscription records and Resend to send messages.
You can unsubscribe using the link in every newsletter. We retain a subscription status record to respect your choice and avoid sending further newsletters. Order emails are separate from newsletter subscriptions. Buying a product does not subscribe you to marketing.
Cookies and local storage
Essential storage holds your basket and privacy choice. It also supports secure administrator access and prevents duplicate checkout submissions.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics can receive page and product views, basket additions and checkout events. If you allow advertising, Meta Pixel can receive similar events to measure advertising. These providers can process online identifiers, device information and IP addresses. The shop does not add your newsletter email, delivery address or name to analytics events.
Optional browser-based measurement is disabled until you choose to allow it. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of the shop to change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops future tracking by this integration. It does not remove data already received by a provider.
Private product visitor statistics
If you allow analytics, this shop stores a random browser identifier in local storage for up to 180 days. When you open a product page or its detail preview, the shop records a product-specific hash of that identifier in Supabase. Repeated openings of the same product are deduplicated while the identifier and deduplication record remain. A different browser, device, expired identifier or cleared browser storage can count again, so the figures are not a verified count of individual people.
The statistics contain a product reference, the product-specific hash and the time it was first counted. They do not store your name, email, IP address, user agent or referring address. These totals can be read only by the signed-in administrator with multi-factor authentication. The shopper-facing recording function does not return any totals. Logged-in administrator previews are excluded.
Withdrawing analytics consent stops further recording and removes the browser identifier. Existing aggregate totals remain. Deduplication records expire after 180 days and are removed in batches when statistics are next used. Deleting a product permanently removes its stored statistics. Refusing analytics does not affect your basket or ability to buy.
Private shop visit totals
The shop also counts visits separately to 3D Prints and Other products. Ordinary shopper counting uses no cookies or browser storage. After successful administrator sign-in, the shop sets a signed cookie named __Host-cfv-no-visits to exclude that browser from both shop visit totals, including after sign-out or an IP change. The cookie grants no administrator access and contains no account identifier, IP address or device fingerprint. It is restricted to this website, set for up to one year and renewed when the excluded browser visits again. Clearing site cookies, changing browser profiles or using a private browsing window can remove this exclusion; signing in again restores it. Cloudflare reads the connection IP address and converts it to a keyed hash before sending it to Supabase. The stored record contains only the shop, that hash, a visit total and the latest visit time. Raw IP addresses, names, emails, referring addresses and page histories are not saved by this counter.
Openings from the same IP in the same shop count as one visit until there has been a 30-minute gap. These are visit totals, not a verified count of people: a shared network may combine visits, and a different IP may count separately. Administrator addresses registered after secure sign-in are excluded from both shops. Only the administrator can read the totals. The aggregate records and administrator exclusions remain until the shop operator removes them.
Access and questions
To ask about your subscription, request deletion of your newsletter details or raise a privacy question, use the shop's contact details. The shop administrator handles these requests.
